Single of The Year

Here's a new thing that I'm doing. Each week, I'm going to post a poll with about five singles this year that were reasonably successful. I'm also going to upload the singles for everyone to download and listen to before they vote. After each week, I'll take the first and second place singles and put them in another list with three other singles and let the voting begin. At the end of the year, I'll post the album of the artist with the most successful single on it.

This B-Side from Avril's new album was leaked a while ago, but I still like it, and felt like posting it. It is more like her older stuff than most of the other tracks on the album, but still retains a little of the new sound. I love the song, and I hope everyone else does too.

Avril Lavigne's first single from her new album: Girlfriend, is currently one of my favs and did very well in the charts. This song is a kind of anthem and has a pop/preppy sound to it that her previous albums did not. Enjoy.
